Pippa Chapman is an RHS-trained, award-winning garden designer, forest gardener, and permaculture educator and has been gardening for over 30 years.
She runs a permaculture gardening and food forest design business, creates videos for her YouTube channel, and co-hosts a podcast. As the author of A Plant Lover’s Backyard Forest Garden and a regular contributor to Permaculture magazine, she is passionate about helping people, complete beginners included, to transform their gardens into abundant, edible ecosystems.
Happiest when she’s outdoors, Pippa loves designing, creating, and maintaining beautiful, ecologically diverse gardens. She delights in helping garden owners make the most of their space – whether large or small – while ensuring room for wildlife to thrive. With a background in ornamental horticulture and fine art, her edible planting designs combine productivity with beauty, creating spaces that provide food, habitat, and year-round visual appeal. Her particular passion is designing small-scale forest gardens that are as practical as they are enchanting.
